Scripture and Snapshot – #7

My granddaughter is visiting me and showed me all the neat things I can do with photographs using a program I have on my MAC called Photo Booth. This is a rendition of my living room from the effects section of that computer program. I loved the light and dark. I thought it was symbolic of Jesus, the door, purifying all the blackness of sin around Him. He is our escape from all that would harm us. Instead, He calls us to lie down in green pastures.

“He rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:13

Bless you this day, my wonderful ones who stop by here,

  1. I’ve really missed you, Dawn, but so glad you have your granddaughter with you. I’m sure you are having the time of your life! I love the picture and what’s been done with it. I grew up with one of those Bibles that had the pictures in it, and one was Jesus knocking on that big wooden door with all the vines growing around it.
Your picture gives a new perspective of light, guidance, and pushing away of darkness. I really like that. I was just reading about the fiery furnace and the brilliance of the light. He ALWAYS brings light with him, doesn’t He?

  2. Perfect connection! Love the visual of white and dark and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Isn’t it fun having grandchildren be the teachers????? I miss your written words but keep enjoying! God bless and love you extra special today! Liz
